Fancy a swim with the new Honda Stream?
The all-new Honda Stream has finally arrived on Malaysian shores. Sporting a modern and dynamic styling, the 7-seater MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) was first introduced in Japan more than a year ago and is now available here at all authorized Honda dealers nationwide.
The launch was held at a stylish restaurant called Saloma situated along Jln Ampang towards opposite of Rennaisance Hotel. Very elegant setting and lots of food and people. It was a hi-tea specially for the media and all Honda dealers and distributors.

Can you feel the flow of the Stream?
The All-New Stream’s newly developed 1.8-liter i-VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) engine delivers a maximum power of 140PS at 6300 rpm and 174 Nm of torque and is linked with a 5-speed automatic transmission. It is complimented with a ‘Drive-By-Wire’ system for optimum throttle valve control and uses an electric power steering system. It is known that the engine is able to achieve 14.8km/l fuel efficiency.
Comfort on the new Stream is improved by a lowered overall height by 45 mm compared to the previous version, and a lower center of gravity with an optimized flat floor design. The suspension on the front uses the MacPherson Strut with a new side cancellation spring for improved flat riding comfort

Unlike many MPVs using the column gear shift, this one is stuck on the dash.
Interior wise, the All-New Stream features a tilt-telescopic steering wheel and seat height adjuster for the right driving position. An automatic self-illuminating meter panel and matching cup holders that lights up when there is a change in ambience

Basic but (digital) improvements are most welcomed
The side sill has been redesigned to attain an extra 20mm of width for passengers in the first and second rows. The use of a slim fuel tank permits a lower floor in the third row, while the reduced cross section in the rear frame results in more width. The floor tunnel has also been eliminated for a significant gain in leg room

Never the best rear space for any MPVs but this baby can do you flat!
All 7 seats can be configured for multiple modes of seating and storage arrangements. With a single flick of the lever, seats can be folded or reclined to create the desired space either for passengers or luggages.
The mini-van boasts an improved G-Force Control Technology for better collision absorption and dispersion. Front body frame have also been reinforced to reduce car-to-car collision damage. Braking the Stream is assisted with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution). Dual front SRS airbags and seat belt pre-tensioners are standard features of the new Stream

The Honda Stream is currently available in four color variants: Nighthawk Black Pearl, Premium White Pearl, Royal Blue Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic.

Very competitively priced at RM149,800 on-the-road with insurance, the new Stream comes with a 3-year warranty and free maintenance for the first six months. Customers who purchase from authorized Honda dealers are also entitled to a 15% off on All-New Stream parts throughout the sales period. Also, Modulo accessories will be made available at all authorized Honda dealers for those who are young and sporty at heart.
