Race to ‘Supercar for Charity’ this February!
Come this 24th February 2008, a charity project will be held at the Sepang International Circuit to raise funds for the recent flood victims in Malaysia.
A joint project between the Porsche Club Malaysia (PCM), Ferrari Owner’s Club (FOC), Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and Forces of Nature Aid Foundation (FOS), this event is an opportunity for racing fans to get upclose and personal with the speed demons on the racing tarmac.

Catch me if you can!
So how can the public take part in this event? You can contribute and have fun at the same time by paying RM300, RM500 or RM1,000 for a ride in a supercar that will be driven by experienced drivers for a full three (3) laps at the circuit. There will also be an exhibition of supercars, photo sessions, merchandise sales and a special race session of the supercars at the end of the event, according to the President of PCM, Datuk Ali Abdul Kadir, who is also a trustee for FON.

One of the beauties for hire - Maserati MC12
You will be spoilt for choice as there will be a fleet of Porsche or Ferrari cars, Lamborghinis, Lotus Esprit V8 machines, Aston Martins, Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG or the new BMW M6 cars. Believe me, it would be the ride of your life as I have personally got onto a BMW 130i on this track, details are HERE.
The exhibition of supercars will feature a Pagani Zonda, Maserati MC12, Bugatti EB110, Ferrari F50 and the McLaren SLR cars.

Aston Martin DB8, anyone?
Datuk Ali said, “The belief that the strongest force of nature is the strength of the human spirit reminds us that every individual can make a difference in the restoration of hope in the lives of those afflicted by the flood. The community of supercar owners feel that by contributing a little of their time and effort, it will go a long way in easing the suffering of the flood victims.”

Or you prefer the Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG?
All proceeds from the event would go to the flood victims, and FON being the charity arm would monitor and disburse the money raised to local non-governmental organisations and foundations to aid the recent flood victims.
What are you waiting for, petrolheads?? Head on to Sepang this 24th February for a helluva experience! ![]()

Hi, a couple of questions:
1) Where can I get the tickets for this event, are they available at Sepang ticket agents?
2) The price stated is RM300, RM500 or RM1,000 - is it the price per entry or per ride? Also - what’s the difference between the 300, 500 and 1000 tickets?
Thanks a lot and looking forward to your reply,
Alex
