Canada’s one-and-only Honda Civic Type-Truck ??

Some people in a Canadian farm can have too much time to waste but this particular farmer had put the free time he has into good use. Enter the ultimate offroad monster courtesy of the uncle with a beard who apparently hosts in a comedy show called the The Red Green Show. No, he is no Santa Clause (although lives in the same northern hemisphere of Earth) but the man is Red Green himself.

Let’s see… how do I turn left… :P

Red Green is a screen title acted by Steve Smith along with his brother, Greg, who plays a lazy handyman who attempts to find shortcuts to most of his projects, placing full trust on duct taps to make things work. In this picture of the fourth-generation Honda Civic (EE) hatchback, it is obvious that he used a little bit too much of duct tape on the rear side of the poor car. But why? From the looks of it, the reason that I know should be to hold up the rear bumper which obviously looks like its about to fall.

Duct tapes aside, heck, what is he trying to do with the over-sized tractor tyres on the Civic??

Duct tapes.. how ’secured’ I felt

Perhaps only the viewers in Canada know what he is trying to prove. The show is only aired in Canada, for your info. An internet source stated that he is trying to, instead of using the roof, he modified the Civic so that a boat can be carried UNDER the car. So, to jack the car up, all four wheels have been replaced with wheels of an excavator. HOW did he modify the wheel hubs to fit those giant wheels is a big question that I need answered.

Er.. can someone call 911?

It goes to show that he is one moronic genius to have such an idea to convert a low-riding Civic into a towering truck. Suitable for our Malaysian weather to combat floods during the rainy season? Perhaps… :D
