PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police) is offering discounts up to 50% for road offences by motorists from now onwards, through its online partner MyEG. Traffic summonses issued either by post or on-the-spot by the police can be paid online from the comfort of your own home.
Defaulters are required to provide their I.C. number and vehicle registration number to check the summonses received in the MyEG portal.
In the latest Google’s Zeitgist (the spirit of the times, in German) for the year 2008, the Perodua Nautica scored tops in popular searches in Malaysia. The Nautica is a locally-produced short wheelbase SUV (compared to the Toyota Rush) and has emerged as the outright winner among all car model searches by Malaysians. It even overtook the searches of five other foreign car models in terms of popular searches.

I dont know about you but since the recent reduction in Malaysian fuel prices, the number of cars on the road quadrupled by the hour! Even before the day of announcement, the looming news about the price cut for the past weeks had seen many new vehicles, especially, were mushrooming like no other business! So much for prudent spending!
