Win prizes in Nissan and AsiaOne contests
There are currently 2 car-related online contests that’s nearing its due dates. Both contest are similar whereby contestants need to post a picture (or three) of their own cars and write a short story describing the pictures in the most wackiest and interesting way.
Does this picture qualify to win? Oops, I still need to write a short story too.
The Singapore contest is called AsiaOne Motoring Contest – My Car Photo organised by SPH, the country’s giant media conglomerate. Dont worry, Malaysians can also take part in this so get your cameras ready.
Just submit a photo of your wheels, along with yourself, family, dogs and kitties, child seats, etc in either one of the categories – classic car, family mover or hot rods. Basically you just need to write a header and a short caption will do. The winner is determined by the number of votes so you have to rake in all your friends to vote for you.
Winners get to win SGD500 (RM1225) worth of premium food and shopping vouchers, plus a free Wax and Shine service at QuickLane. There will be ten SGD50 (RM123) to be given away to consolation prize winners. Contest ends on December 16, 2009. To enter the contest, head to the Contest page.
Malaysians would find this contest, organized by Tan Chong Motor, the sole distributor of Nissan cars in Malaysia, more rewarding. No cash is involved but they are giving away a 4days 3nights trip for 2 to Beijing to catch the Motorshow in 2010 as first prize. Second prize is an awesome MacBook Air and third, a Fujifilm FinePix PnS digital camera! In comparison, this contest is more attractive to enter, eh?
However, it may not be simple to win though as you need to write a short story of between 200-250 words and send (preferably) three pictures of you and your Nissan car only. It is like sharing your days with your Nissan car and have it in words and pictures to describe that experience. Difficult? Well, let the prizes motivate you! Better still, you can write in either English, Malay or even Chinese to enter the contest.
