Written by PLUS and MIROS has joined hands and expertise to distribute 50,000 ‘Love Life‘ audio CDs to accompany drivers during their balik kampung journey.
The CDs containing songs that educate drivers about staying safe while driving is a new effort by the two authorities in curbing road tragedies especially during the festive seasons like Hari Raya, which falls this weekend.
Make a beeline to the toll plazas this Raya season for a token of love
The CD features songs by local artistes like Datuk Khatijah Ibrahim, Nora, Jaclyn Victor, Noh Hujan, Tomok, Dayang Nurfaizah and Dina. So if you are a fan of these songbirds, you should be getting it at 10 major toll plazas in Klang Valley (I think) for free. Yeah, the CD is given out free to all road users who passes by these toll plazas started yesterday till this Thursday only.
I find it funny that both websites does not have any news about this free giveaway. Weird…
According to Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan, CEO of MIROS, the Love Life CD project is a social marketing campaign for MIROS to explore new avenues to educate and create awareness of good behaviours and habits upon road users in Malaysia.
He also urged that motorists should not rush to balik kampung especially when these limited CDs are given out for free.. OK, I was joking, he didn’t say that. But it is a fact that if you do rush, you could end up like the picture below:

I won’t be travelling anywhere this weekend coz I have lots of work to follow-up. So, if you are hitting the road this Raya, I wish you safe journey back to your kampung. Have lots of kuih Raya and ketupat rendangs too. And oh, dont forget to listen to the Love Life CD while driving.
